The Lebanese Central Bank issued on May 29, 2025 announcement number 963 directed to banks and financial institutions whereby it adjusted commissions levied on banks & financial institutions on LBP operations conducted on the National Payment System (BDL-RTGS) and Retail Payment System (BDL-Clear), whilst also capping the commissions that banks can charge their clients on said operations.
