Beirut Port freight activity ebbed slightly during the month of November 2025 with the total weight of shipped goods dropping to around 534.8 thousand tons compared to 557.2 thousand tons a month earlier (4.02% decrease). On a cumulative basis, however, freight activity rose by a robust 18.03% y-o-y during the first eleven months of 2025 to 5,864 thousand tons up from 4,968 thousand tons a year earlier. The number of vessels, however, dropped by 4.81% year-on-year to 1,286 in comparison with 1,351 in the same period in 2024, while the number of imported cars increased by 56.94% to 64,559 cars. In a related context, the Beirut port handled containers with a total cargo capacity of around 842.19 thousand TEUs (including transshipments) in comparison with a smaller cargo capacity of 700.97 thousand TEUs a year earlier.
تراجعت حركة الشحن العامّ عبر مرفأ بيروت خلال الشهر الحادي عشر من العام 2025 حيث إنخفض الوزن الإجمالي للبضائع إلى 534.8 ألف طن في شهر تشرين الثاني مقابل حوالي 557.2 ألف طن في شهر تشرين الأول (إنكماش شهريّ نسبته 4.02%). أمّا على صعيد تراكمي، فقد إرتفعت حركة الشحن بنسبة 18.03% سنويّاً إلى 5،864 ألف طن خلال الأشهر الإحدى عشر الأولى من العام 2025 مقارنةً مع 4،968 ألف طن خلال الفترة ذاتها من العام 2024. من جهةٍ أخرى، إنخفض عدد البواخر بنسبة 4.81% على أساسٍ سنويٍّ إلى 1،286 باخرة حتّى شهر تشرين الثاني 2025 مقارنةً مع 1،351 باخرة خلال الفترة نفسها من العام 2024 فيما زاد عدد السيّارات المستوردة بنسبة 56.94% إلى حوالي 64،559 سيارة. وقد إستقبل مرفأ بيروت حاويات ذات قدرة إستيعاب بلغت حوالي 842.19 ألف وحدة مكافئة لعشرين قدم (TEU) حتى شهر تشرين الثاني من العام 2025 مقارنةً مع 700.97 ألف وحدة مكافئة لعشرين قدم (TEU) خلال الفترة ذاتها من العام 2024.
