The Paris conference that was held for Lebanon in Paris on October 24, 2024 and that grouped over 70 nations and international organizations, has garnered $1 billion in pledges, broken down into $800 million in humanitarian aid and $200 million in military support. France announced that it will donate $100 million, while the United States will provide $300 million, Germany will raise €96 million, and Italy will pledge €10 million, among others. In a related note, the military assistance will help the Lebanese armed forces with healthcare, provide them with fuel & small equipment, facilitate the recruitment of a minimum of 6,000 additional soldiers and will enable the deployment of at least 8,000 soldiers in the South.
تمكّن مؤتمر باريس الذي عُقِدَ من أجل لبنان في باريس بتاريخ 24 تشرين الأوّل 2024 والذي ضمّ أكثر من 70 دولة ومنظّمة دوليّة، من جمع مليار دولار أميركي مقسّمة بين 800 مليون دولار أميركي على شكل مساعدات إنسانيّة و200 مليون دولار أميركي على شكل مساعدات عسكريّة. وقد أعلنت فرنسا أنّها ستساهم ب100 مليون دولار أميركي، في حين أنّ الولايات المتّحدة سوف تقدّم 300 مليون دولار أميركي وألمانيا سوف تؤمّن 96 مليون يورو وأيطاليا سوف تقدّم 10 مليون يورو، للذكر لا للحصر. في إطارٍ متّصل، فإنّ المساعدات العسكريّة ستوفّر للعسكريّين اللبنانيين الرعاية الصحيّة، كما وأنّها ستؤمّن للجيش اللبنانيّ الوقود والمعدّات الصغيرة كما وستساعد في تجنيد 6،000 عسكري إضافي على الأقّل وستمكّن الحكومة من نشر 8،000 عسكري على الأقلّ في الجنوب.
